How to Help
As we are a young Buddhist organisation we have much to do. Although there are a couple of basis chalets with cooking and toilet facilities, we would like to expand these so more people are able to enjoy the natural bush with native birds and seclusion while practicing Sati Meditation (Vippassana).
The following projects are on-going and need donations:
new accommodation building
renovation and maintenance of the buildings,
assistance to the local community;
development of income generating projects;
and expansion of learning opportunities for students.
To make a donation.

Volunteer Opportunities.
In the near future we would very much like to expand opportunities for retreats; however this will require we build more accommodation. Your donations and volunteer time will make this possible. If you would like to join us, we welcome your support. We also have an ongoing need for a gardener and/or handyman at the Pannarama Sati School. Anytime anybody has time to spare would be wonderful.
If you have a unique skill to offer or would just enjoy mucking in with the rest of us please come join us.
We are local people, led by an engaging teacher dedicated to learning meditation and Buddhism and building a spiritual community.
We welcome the donation of your time, expertise or financial support. If you are unable to join us at this time but are interested in future opportunities please email us so we may include you when we have news to share.
Please let us know how and when you are able to help, by filling out

2009-2010 International Sati Camp.
On 25th November 2009, 20 monks from all around the world go to the Pannarama Sati School in Bodhgaya India for a three month vassa (retreat). One group for meditation training and one learning Pali Sutra. This camp is held each year at Buddha's place of Enlightenment. Because it is growing in popularity, numbers are limited by the accommodation and facilities. This camp accepts lay people who just pay for their airfare and travel, but accommodation and food costs are by donation. They are able to ask the Chief Monk and take vows to be a temporary monk for three months. Applications are accepted up until August with interviews soon after.
